Atlantic Eagles ‘family’ experience Delray Beach movie premiere of “I Will Soar”

Delray Beach (CBS12) — The Atlantic Eagles football team is used to getting hyped up for Game Night, but on Tuesday night they were on top of the world because it was movie premier night.

The Eagles football players, past and present, were walking the red carpet in Delray Beach, attending the premier of their movie called “I Will Soar”. The documentary from John Sturdy and Jane Swanko follows the Eagles players, coaching staff, principle and school leaders, using football to help motivate a 100 percent graduation rate. 85 percent of the players, many who had difficulty in the classroom and/or at home, are now on the honor roll. As of Tuesday, they were now movie stars.
